Anyone getting random contractions but no labor?

Question

I had two contractions back to back 4 minutes apart for 1 minute and then nothing. I know they were contractions and not Braxton (from experience) so I timed them. Now I’m just having irregular what feels like Braxton. 
I’ll be 36 weeks and I feel like it’s too soon, but could this just be my body preparing? Or Dilating? Anyone else get this? Like weeks before you delivered?
Also- TMI- having lots of diarrhea as well- (5x)

I’m having this now and had it with my first. Once labor actually started, it was QUICK. It’s your bodies way of getting ready for labor but also your body is sort of doing some of the work load now. It’s exhausting and can be painful and frustrating at times, but it may make delivery easier on you. With my oldest, it start at 34 weeks and continued for four weeks, had him at 38 weeks. Same with this little one. 34 weeks, am 36 now, but my midwife said everything would honestly be fine if I had him now. I’m not too worried, just want little man to gtfo! 😂

I was up all night with painful contractions. 1 min long about 8-10 min apart. I was waiting until they got closer but they never did. I ended up falling asleep and woke up with no contractions. 
So frustrating 😭  38 weeks

Well I haven't delivered yet so I can't give any experience there. But I have contractions that will be 4 minutes apart for a while. Then they disappear. Or have contractions 15 minutes apart for a whole day. Sometimes my contractions last 3-4 minutes. I've had bouts of preterm labor this pregnancy. But now I'm 37 weeks so it's just a waiting game. I did find out I was dialated 4 last week, though. So I may just be getting close.

I’ve had these for two weeks. I’ll have contractions 3-4 minutes apart for hours and then suddenly they’re just gone. I’m already dilated so the doctor said it’s just my body dilating

I am now and did with my daughter. I had her a week and a half after it started though at 36 weeks and 5 days. 
I’m only 36 weeks and 2 days now but I’m hoping it either stops or he just comes soon since it’s been 3 days and I’m over it already. Plus I started to slowly lose my MP which didn’t happen for me with my previous until I went into labor.

Me. Off and on sporadically. I didn’t have any with my first (or maybe I didn’t notice??) and she came at exactly 37w. Wondering if this one is going to follow the same schedule.

I had contractions for several hours on Monday. More painful than Braxton and pretty regular but they weren’t getting worse and then eventually eased up. They checked me today and said I was 1cm so those weren’t the real thing, obviously. 
The doctor did tell me to come in next time they happen just because they don’t want me laboring on my c-section scar. 
I have a scheduled c-section for this baby so I’m hoping she hangs on until our scheduled date.

Yes! I was just about to post this exact same thing! I had contractions between 5-10 minutes apart last night from 1:30 until 4:00. Now they have slowed way down/ almost completely disappeared! I’m 38 weeks though, so know it could be anytime.
