Discharge from Chlamydia

So I was prescribed the azithromycin powder packet for my chlamydial infection and I took it a week ago during my period but as soon as my period was over I noticed I am still having the yellowish discharge that I’m assuming is from the infection. My question is how long does it take for the discharge/smell to go away after taking the medication?
