sweep and mucus plug ?

i’ve been loosing bits and pieces of my mucus plug since about 20 weeks. sometimes globs. sometimes very little bits.

at 36 weeks i lost my mucus plug with brown blood for a few days but it didn’t do anything.

i’m 40+5 and had a membrane sweep yesterday. i haven’t had any spotting or bleeding but noticed i’ve been loosing more globs of my mucus plug ? i’ve had a few inconsistent contractions but otherwise feel fine.

with loosing more of my mucus plug does this mean labour might finally be coming ? or does it mean nothing still ?
