Steady contractions not getting worse?

Question

I’ve been having contractions every 2-5 minutes for 3 HOURS but they aren’t getting more painful. I’ve had lots of water, laid down, walked etc and it’s just the same intensity for 3 straight hours. Would y’all go into L&D or wait for them to get more intense? This is so annoying....I’m 37.4 weeks. I’ve had like 30 damn contractions tonight.

I would go. If they’re regular for that long, chances are, you’re progressing. They don’t have to be that painful yet.

I had the same problem I went in about 4 hours later because the contractions weren’t getting worse but they were constant and annoying me. I ended up being 6cm

Call and ask. I had this on Monday and they kept going to 8 hours. I didn’t go in but they told me I should have just to be checked. Luckily they weren’t progressing labor (I was checked today and still only 1cm)

my contractions with my daughters didnt get worse until i was literally 10cm dilated with a broken water ready to push. Id go in !!!

My doctor told me to come in when they were 4-5 minutes apart. I live an hour away.  So I would definitely call

I would call your doctor's office to see what they recommend but I think they will probably have you go in and get checked.

Yes I would go!!!! Mine didn’t get super painful until I was at a 7! Up until then they ranged from annoying to bad period cramps
