My take on First Response ovulation tests🤷😒😑🙅
My husband and I have been trying for our second child for 19months this cycle so as you might imagine I have tried and gone through LOTS of ovulation tests in lots of different brands (Pregmate, Easy@Home, Clear Blue digital and original, Babycolor, CVS, Walgreens and Walmart brand, EZ level, First Response and this month Im trying iProven) I will normally test the accuracy when I'm trying a new brand by testing with another brand that I know are accurate along side with the new brand so if I get a positive result on the accurate test and not on the new brand, I will know that the new brand are not accurate and will put a review on Amazon (sometimes I even get a refund depending on how bad the tests seem). Anyways I tried 2 new brands this cycle, iProven and First Response ovulation tests. The iProven are accurate and to me are just like Easy@Home brand the only difference is that they seem to take the FULL 5 minutes to show the actual results, if you look at it and record the results before then its not always accurate (if you look at it at 3 minutes and then go back and look at 5 minutes its normally a shade or 2 darker so keep this in kind if your considering purchasing iProven tests) Now the First Response ovulation tests are awfully inaccurate and I DO NOT recommend them. On the day that every other ovulation test I have were showing a BOLD positive the First Response were negative... And today im 5dpo and wanted to test just for fun and my first response test was just as dark today as it was the day I got my positive on all other tests.
Moral of the story is First Response ovulation tests are inaccurate and a HUGE waste of money.

Here is a picture of an iProven ovulation and a First Response ovulation at 5dpo and the first response is just as dark as it was the day I got positive ovulation tests on 3other brands
