My husband and I decided that it would be best if the baby slept in his crib or bassinet. However this little one whimpers nonstop when I do 😭 I made sure he was fed and had a fresh clean diaper on. We’ve tried swaddled and not. I’m a very light sleeper to begin with so hearing his whimpers and small cries at night I can’t ignore and makes me feel so guilty.

As soon as I pick him up he’s fine. When he lays in bed with us he’s fine. Could it be he just doesn’t like his crib and bassinet or is it him wanting to be close to me????... how do I move past this? Just ignore his cries??...

I’ve been staying up all throughout the night holding him while he sleeps and taking tiny naps when I can throughout the day but my husband is going back to work Monday so I can’t do that much longer
