Hey! I started dating a single dad a few weeks ago. When we first started talking we would text all throughout the day but the convo would slow down when he got off work (I assumed it’s because he had to pick up his son and get him ready for bed). Nowadays, I get a good morning text and just a few text throughout the day. I thought maybe he was losing interest but last night we were making plans to see each other again and he stated he was excited to see me. I’ve never dated a single dad before so I want to be as understanding as possible. Should I be concerned about the texts slowing down? He does work full time and tends to his son when he’s not at work as his son lives with him.

Any tips for anyone who’s dated a single dad?
