Second opinion?

My has been getting constipated at least twice a month since she’s been a couple months old. I talked with her paediatrician about it at her 6 month wellness check and she said she wasn’t concerned because she wasn’t completely blocked and gave us different things to try and get her going and to soften her stool. Last week was awful. She was pooping but crying in pain and it was pretty solid. I called her ped again last Friday and said I was concerned because she was in pain every time she was pooping. She again said to keep on giving her diluted apple juice and offer her 2 ounces of water a day. Up until today, she was having regular, liquid poops and wasn’t struggling to do so. Today however, she again started straining and crying in pain. Her poop wasn’t rock solid but was fairly thick. I don’t know what to do 🙁 I have a gut feeling something is wrong, am I just being paranoid? Every time I call or bring it up to her ped she doesn’t seem concerned since she’s still pooping but is this normal for this to keep on happening?!😞 my heart breaks every time she struggles and cries because she’s in pain 😢
