IUD and pregnant?

Anyone gotten pregnant while with an IUD? I’m 6 months postpartum and have an IUD, got it 3 months ago but have been cramping on an off past few weeks. Been super emotional this week too. Also took a test just to check and feel like I MIGHT see a line but I am the worst at getting line eyes. Just curious if anyone had experienced this.

There’s supposedly a 1% chance of pregnancy with the IUD. So it can happen. I’d take another test in a few days to be sure.

I did, it was ectopic which apparently is a 4% chance. Keep testing and if you get a positive go to the doctor, or go sooner if you aren't feeling well.

It’s possible to get pregnant if the iud has shifted out of place. Personally I don’t see a second line but I would take another test in a few days to be sure as a pregnancy with an iud is more likely to cause serious issues like an ectopic pregnancy.

No it’s VERY rare to get pregnant with and iud bc it blocks sperm from getting to the tubes so you’d have to be pregnant before you got it to be. I know bc I’ve had the iud and they explained it as I got it.
