IUI with thin lining
My first IUI is early tomorrow morning. I went in for my follicle scan today and there were 2 follicles measuring 24mm which is great, but my lining was around 6mm during the biggest measurement she was able to get (she measured it 3 times- the other 2 measurements were closer to 5.5). They told me going into it that they wanted to see it be at least 8mm.
But then the nurse came in and gave me my trigger then told me my IUI would be the next morning (roughly 21 hours later) and didn’t mention anything about my lining being too thin or that being problematic. She just told me it was thinner than they usually like but that my doctor said it was fine and the trigger will help thicken it up. (Never heard that before? 🤔)
Everything I’m reading says that doctors usually cancel IUIs and IVF if the lining is under 8. Has anyone had their IUI with a thinner lining and still been successful? Also wondering if I should try all of the different things to thicken it up like red raspberry leaf tea, baby aspirin, pineapple, pomegranate, etc or if that would be totally pointless considering we’re like 16 hours away from our IUI. I don’t know what to do 😣
