With mortgage rates so low right now I'm thinking about refinancing, but I know you have to pay closing costs again. Has anyone here refinanced, and if so would you mind sharing how much in closing costs you had to pay? We paid about $3,000 when we purchased our home, but someone else who just refinanced told me they only paid $250 when they refinanced? (They also live in a new construction home, so I know there are some benefits that come with new construction). Just curious.

My credit is excellent. No late payments, no credit cards, only debt I have is student loans which I've always paid on time. So I think I could get a good rate.
