My family wants to do a drive-by shower. We are putting on the invitation to please stay in your car and wear a mask. My in-laws will go get the gifts and bring the guests a piece of cake. We are staying way back and just waving. Honestly, I wish we could just not do one (it’s so stressful and nerve wracking), but we really need stuff for the baby. That’s the only reason we are doing it, but we are not coming close to anyone.

I always thought by November it would be okay to have a shower but now I am starting to worry. I know it’s no big deal, just a shower, but I hate feeling like we’re already missing out on so much with being pregnant during a pandemic I can’t help but feel discouraged 😩 hoping for at least a small gathering

Sadly I won't be having a shower.  I'm super bummed about it but I know it is what is best for our health. My husband's best friend just died at 28 years old to covid 19. We are very concerned about this virus.

I’m in Canada so not as bad here and I’ll be doing a small intimate one (20 ppl total or less) in September 12 .  That’s mostly family . I’m inviting 20 I’m sure some won’t come due to covid which is fine

We are planning on a combo of close family that we have already been around and know they are being safe with masks that we will provide and then a drive by for our friends and I am making goodie bags and a diaper raffle. I put small packs of diapers in a registry so people can purchase ahead and I can pick the winner ahead of time. Although I am getting more and more nervous because we live in Florida and things are getting crazy down here.
