Depo???

Question

I just started depo 3 days ago. I have really bad cramping like I’m gonna get a period but worse. Is this normal??? What symptoms did you have?? Just wanna know what’s normal and not scared to get pregnant again as I’m 6 weeks pp

I was on the shot for about 2-3 years then stopped for a year to get pregnant, 
I am now back on and I had my period for about 3 weeks straight, I also am on my period again now with the worst cramps! 
After a couple of the injections though most of the time your period goes away or becomes very light. When I was on it before I didn’t have my period for about 2.5 years. 
Give it another injection try, and if you still aren’t happy with it just switch! 
Depo comes with a lot of symptoms that go away over time

Be careful on depo!! I was on that like 4 years ago it fucked me up bad i bleed so bad it came through my panties ... also made me really sick i threw up and everything and that was from the first shot ... i told my Obgyn at the time I’m not getting the second shot i’m taking myself off of that !!
