I started bleeding at 4weeks and 2 days pregnant. Had a scan which showed my uterus was empty, but I had a faint positive on the urine pregnancy test in the hospital, my blood work showed that my HCG level is 2 so I’m definitely not pregnant anymore. Since I started bleeding it’s felt like my normal period bleed, it’s behaved exactly as my period would. But the nurse who called me said this isn’t a period. And I should expect my period to come 2-3weeks after this bleeding finish’s. And that I should stop taking my folic acid until my next period. Has anyone been advised this? I was hoping to ovulate straight after this and TTC during my fertile window but now I’m confused as to whether I will ovulate if this isn’t a period.

Please help.
