How much if your 6 week old sleeping in a 24 hour period?

My baby wakes up every 3 hours for feeding & is usually awake for about 15 mins. He really sleeps lost of the day. The baby could be going through a growth spurt. They get fussy & throw off their feeding & sleeping schedules. You can google & read up on growth spurts if you do not know.

My little one was sleeping great but we’re hitting 5 weeks and the past 2 days have been nothing but fussing and crying 😫, exhausted I think she slept maybe 4 hours and 2 of that was because I drove her around

I think the longest mine has slept since 10:30 am is 45 min. She keeps fighting her sleep then when she does close her eyes she wakes up right when I’m about to put her down...I hope this means she will sleep good at night tonight

I keep her wake window under 120 minutes for sure but she usually sleeps every 90 minutes after waking sometimes its a short nap like 20 minutes sometimes its a 4 hour nap but usually when she wakes up I expect at least an hour sometimes i only get 45 munutes with a feeding because she is just hungry and goes back to sleep. I have had nights where she will est every hour and a half and stay up for almost 3-4 hours but thats rare she usually will alwaysss fall asleep if I put her in the BOBA baby carrier and walk around with her binky in, she will cry the first few minutes but she usually fights sleep period lol

Hmm. I would say he sleeps 7-8 hours a stretch at night and naps 8-9 hours during the day. So like 15-17 hours in a 24 hour period?

Idk on average, but today he’s slept about 7 1/2 since 7 am, and he’s been napping now for about 15 min

Mine was that way yesterday,  super fussy and didn't sleep hardly at all yesterday. She didn't even go to bed until after midnight. 🤦‍♀️
She was fussy this morning but been showing about 2 hours now so I'm going tonight is better

I don’t track his sleep, but mine is 7 weeks and he’s definitely slept more than 4 hours since this morning (currently almost 9p where I am)
