I've had 2 consecutive miscarriages this year. We really want to have a baby and I'm ready to start TTC anytime. My doc referred us to fertility specialist and we don't have initial phone consultation until mid Sept. I did ask my doc if she could see anything that would be a reason behind this and she said no, all my hormone levels are great, no health issues.

I guess we're a bit leary of TTC before fertility appt but is over the phone so they may say miscarriages were just chance occurences as well.

Anyone else out there in similar shoes? Should we be able to just have unprotected sex and enjoy each other, or should we be waiting for run down from specialist? My fear is they won't find anything that would give cause, but on the other hand if I happen to get pregnant will that be a bigger worry?

Any thoughts out there from someone who has been through similar?
