Allergic reaction introducing solids

Just want to come on here and advice for us who are introducing solids, especially known allergy foods (nut butters, eggs, dairy, etc) to please do so in the late morning / early afternoon so you can monitor for allergic reactions: rash / swelling around mouth, on face, eyes, rash spread on neck, back, chest, tummy, arms, legs, and with funny breathing / wheezing, tongue swelling, vomiting and diarrhea are severe.

We had our first scare today with cashew butter, (which label also says may contain other tree nuts), this is after already trying peanut and almond butter previously with no reaction. LO has recovered well, thankfully nothing severe, but it's absolutely scary. Even more outta place when the ER has protocols with this Covid and only one parent is allowed in and doctors are backed up.

Be aware and monitor. We're glad we caught the reaction early. Stay safe. We'll now be seeing an immunologist for allergy testing.
