Shoe phobia

My LO recently started officially walking (still trips and falls a lot, so still not confident to take her out in public walking)

Usually she’s only walking at home and is obviously barefoot. Today we put shoes on her and she FREAKED out. Stood there like she was stuck and scared to move and crying so hard.

Anyone’s LO go thru this when putting shoes on them?! I used to put shoes on her when we went out more pre-COVID but those were infant shoes that weren’t walking friendly since she didn’t walk back then.

Now I’m scared to try again and starting to have scary visions of her starting preschool and scared to wear shoes for school 🥴😶
