There are SO many factors you aren’t telling us. Are you on birth control? Have you been having sex without birth control? Do you have irregular periods normally? Did you start any new medications? Recent surgeries? Extreme diet change? High stress?
If you aren’t worried about pregnancy (ie, you haven’t been having sex) then simply make an appointment with your obgyn to discuss the possibility of PCOS or other issues that may cause irregular periods. It’s not “bad” so much as it is a complication if you one day were to want children. Might just make it harder to have them. But it’s not going to hurt your health or anything.

You could possibly have polysistic ovarian syndrome. I would always skip periods so I went to my gyno who diagnosed me with that. I recommend setting up an appointment with your gyno.
