Anyone else?

So my doctor told me I’m low on iron and prescribed me some iron pills. Only problem is I can’t hold them down whenever I take them not even 10 minutes later I’m throwing up . My breathing has been messed up due to low iron so I really need to be able to hold them down! Has this happened to Anyone else ? And if so any tips that helped keep them down for u ?

I have the same problem but I just finally found some iron gummies at Walmart and so far have been able to deal with it better that way. Drinking OJ also helps your body absorb the iron better btw. Good luck xx

Try taking them at night before bed. Also, if you can get an anti nausea medication prescription, you could take that with it

These have been the easiest on my stomach. The taste good and dissolve quickly and have Vit C in them to for better absorption. I take it right before bed.

My doctor recommended me to take it with vitamin C. He recommended the one in the picture is a small pill . I drink the vitamin C first. I don’t like the taste and so I take like 5  minutes to drink it sometimes even more 😅

mine said to take the iron separate from the prenatal vitamin. i take the vitamin in the morning with breakfast and the iron with dinner and ive been fine.
