Pray for my babies 😞

Today I took both my kids to be tested for Covid. Friday night my 3 year old came home from daycare with a running yucky nose. Figuring it’s just a cold I didn’t even put much thought into it. The next morning he woke up still with a yucky nose and congestion and so did my 7 month old daughter. Again thinking nothing of it I passed it off as they came down with a cold. Saturday night I get phone call from their daycare. A child tested positive for covid and they are closing for at least Monday and Tuesday (longer if any of the teacher test positive or if their results aren’t all back by then). I immediately start freaking out. Because now I’m thinking what if these runny noses and congestion isn’t just a cold. I took their temps and my son was fine but my daughter did have a temp of 99. Again I know that’s not anything crazy but considering stories I hear of people having no symptoms except for a low grade fever I was beside myself. I mean what would I do if both my babies ended up with this awful virus?! My daughter slept awful all last night she was up every 20 minutes to an hour crying. I called first thing this morning and they ultimately decided that since they technically had symptoms (for children that is) and were technically exposed to it, that they were eligible for testing. Thankfully they both did great with the tests but now the waiting game to find out if their positive. Praying they aren’t and it’s just awful timing and it’s just a cold.
