Autism and Hand flapping ? When she sees herself on camera she flaps her hands and gets tense like this. Is this an autism symptom?.She was only about 6 months here. She is 9 months now and still does this. Her face gets tense like that every time too.

My son did this up until sometime in the last month to show excitement and that he wanted more food. He is nearly 9 months now. Since he has learned how to clap and other hand jestures he doesn't do it nearly as much. Like was said, I wouldn't worry. She is still young and it may be the only hand gesture she knows right now. She is adorable btw.
