So I share my location with my parents which I don’t mind doing as I don’t usually lie to them ab where I am.

But I am moving back to college in a couple days and have recently starting seeing someone and definitely want to be spending the night at his place.

My parents usually track me when I’m out late at night just to make sure I’m okay and if I’m staying somewhere else they want me to let them know so they don’t freak out when they wake up (again some may find this absurd but it’s fine I grew up w strict rules)

The thing is that I really don’t want to lie to them and say I was just at a girl’s house because I hate lying. I want to be able to say I spent the night w my boyfriend but I genuinely think they’ll kill me.

What should I do? I was thinking about bringing it up to my mom before I move in but my boyfriend said I should wait until it actually happens and I need to explain myself.

Pls pls help I’m really torn and idk what to do. Pls don’t comment saying “you’re an adult” and whatnot because that’s not how it works in an Asian household.

(Also I cant turn my location off for various reasons so don’t say that)
