How did you stop smoking?

I need advice on how to quit smoking, i just found out i’m pregnant and need help 🥺

The thought of something happening to your baby because of you smoking should probably be enough to get you to want to stop.
If not there’s other ways to stop, look it up.
I understand it’s very hard, my mom gave it up the moment she found out she was pregnant with my little brother and she smoked a lot !

Cold turkey. The knowledge that youre hurting your baby should be enough to make you stop. The first couple days suck, but it s easy after that.

I literally just stopped. I had one cigarette that made me feel kind of sick and i said ok I'm just done now. I haven't picked on up since and that's been 3-4 years now. Mind over matter sometimes. You have to want to quit more than you want that cigarette. Once you stop, within a week you will breathe easier. A month, you will start to get your sense of smell and taste back. You're pregnant. You need to commit to quitting and go for it!!! You CAN do it!!

I honestly quit cold turkey when I got serious about trying to conceive. I remember smoking my last cigarette, I basically made love to it lol.. but having a healthy baby was so important to me. It was difficult at first but I just focused on my health and I’m now 38+4 weeks pregnant and haven’t smoked in over a year. So glad I did! Good luck! Grab some twizzlers and start eating those😊
