Walker Yay or Nay??

Question

What do you guys think about baby walkers? Do you have one? Does your baby like it? I’m still unsure if I should get one or not?

We have this one and she likes it, although she hasn’t figured out how to go forwards yet. It is also a jumper and has a snack tray under the car part.

If this is the type you mean then yes yes yes!! My son LOVES his and even took a few steps not using it the other day! It entertains him so well! We did not buy the type you sit them in and they walk around though.

We never had one for my oldest and she walked by 10-11 months, before a good amount of other kids in her Glow group. We won't get one this time because I don't have space for more unnecessary baby stuff! I've heard they're "not good for your baby," but I haven't done a lot of research to substantiate that, and honestly how BAD could they really be? 🤷🏻‍♀️

My boy loves his! The past couple days he’s been trying to stand up against it & push it so I think like previous commentor Autumn with baby Nathan I’m gonna go get a push walker! My boy loves to chase our dog around the house in it & it scares my dog😂 this was him feeding himself peanut butter for the first time😍

My son is obsessed with his push one. I won't let him have the kind you sit in. I put him in a friend's for a couple minutes and you could instantly see how unnatural the "walking" is. He loves to try to walk with us holding his hands and pulls himself up with the push one. He doesn't quite "walk" with it but is close. He loves to sit in front of it and play with all the buttons, it was also great for encouraging him to learn to sit. Ours is the Vtech Stroll and Discover.

We have a sit in walker and she LOVES it. Follows us and the dogs from room to room. She actually runs in hers and has been learning the layout of the house very well with it. We do not have stairs in our home so that wasn’t a concern for us.

Those are banned in Canada, we have the push walker and he loves it!! Already started to push and take steps with it

It’s like a transformer. It comes apart and the car turns into a walk behind. She doesn’t hate it.
Personally not what I would’ve picked, but it was a gift so we’re using it 🤷🏻‍♀️
