Need some tips on getting wet

Sex with my bf has not been enjoyable lately. I’m not sure why I can’t seem to get super wet like I used to. Last night it was okay at first then I would feel a little pain, I don’t know what to do. Using lube would be awkward but I guess we’ll try that. I’m not sure if that would make it any better.
