Is Cuba considered South America/Latino?

So I’m curious to know if Cuba is considered part of South America or Being able to be called Latinos? I’m asking because okay we’re considered Hispanic but people say Latinos are only from South America. So Brazil for example they say are Latinos but not Hispanic. So does this apply to Cuba, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic? Because we’re Hispanic but we’re in the Caribbean. So would I only consider myself Hispanic but not Latina? And can I technically say I’m from the Caribbean?
