Birth control after plan b

So I took the plan b pill after having unprotected sex. He didn’t cum in me but I was paranoid so I figured better safe than sorry. I also got my birth control prescription refilled. Does anyone know when I can start my birth control again? Can I do it right away or should I wait a little bit to start?
