Any IVF mama here ?

I wanted to ask any experienced IVF mama, did you go into labour pass the due date ? What’s the attitude of your doctor regarding going over ? My first pregnancy (conceived naturally) I was induced at 40.4 this time around I’m afraid I’ll go over again. However, my doctor would really like me to be give birth around my due date (23rd) since it’s an IVF pregnancy she doesn’t feel comfortable letting him stay pass 41 weeks. To be honest, I had a great induction the first time and if things will be the same I wouldn’t mind doing it again (especially if it’s gonna decrease the risk of overdue complications) however I also wish to experience spontaneous labour too. I’m just asking for experiences. 💖

I’m IVF with my first. My dr. Is okay with me going up until 41 weeks, but doesn’t want me to go past that. Not sure if that’s because I’m IVF though or just what he tells all patients. Currently 39 weeks and hoping she will come on her own before that. 🤞🏼

First pregnancy I conceived naturally and was induced . It went as bad as you could think and I had a csection. This pregnancy, even though it’s an IVF pregnancy, doctor would’ve let me go past 40wks but won’t due to my first experience with induction. I’ll be getting a csection I’f I go past. 
I know some won’t allow it regardless and push for induction at 38 or 39 weeks though

My 1st was conceived naturally, and I was induced at 41.4. I’m currently pregnant via IVF, and my Dr. discussed the risks of going beyond my due date. I also want to experience natural, spontaneous, labor. So I’m trying different methods to see if I can coaxed my body/baby into “being ready.” (Walking, ball bouncing...) My induction will be scheduled for August 4th (was due 9/6). I’m so uncertain because IVF was new/foreign to me (no friends or family ever had the experience) Im ok with being induced, but we’re working overtime to get her going this weekend. 🙂

This is my first pregnancy, and IVF. I’m booked in for an induction on my due date. Dr wont let IVF pregnancies go past 40 wks. I’m hoping baby will come on its own before then as he/she was already measuring 40 weeks at our 36 wk scan!

I’m IVF too, it’s my first baby but my doctors had not mentioned anything about not letting me go over...until today: I’m 38 weeks and my baby, who had been head down since like 28 weeks, decide to flip transversally. I’m scheduled for another ultrasound on Monday to see how she is and if we schedule a c-section or not. But even if we do, it’s nothing regarding ivf. They don’t seem to treat me differently or even mention it to me. I’m the one anxious and don’t know if I would want to wait past 40 weeks.

My friend did ivf but she went into labor at 26 weeks and had her baby at 31. Her uterus shrinks tho. She’s the only person I know that did ivf.
