Weird cycle

Okay y’all I’m confused. My period is usually always on time and if it is late it’s give or take a day or 2. Well yesterday I was 5 days late and my husband and I are ttc so I took a test. It was a bfn (no faint lines and was pink dye) I’m now 6 days late period hasn’t started and don’t have any symptoms of it starting either. So do I test again in a couple days in case the one was wrong? Cause otherwise I have no idea what’s going on this month.
