Mother in law licked my babys paci?

I was at my mil home with baby & out of the corner of my eye i saw my baby spit her pacifier out & my mil grabbed it & sucked it & put it in my babys mouth. I was beyond horrified & disgusted. Shes a 55 yr old smoker too top it off. Beyond pissed! But my husband is sayingg im too mean when i correct her 🙄 has anyone else experienced this? The bitch is crazy 😡

That is so disgusting!🤢🤢🤢 I would be pissed and mortified. I think I just threw up in my mouth thinking of.ur poor baby being given that paci after she licked it🤢

I’m so sorry that happened! My in-laws do so many things that cross the line to me with my son. My husband doesn’t see most of it as a big deal but he respects my feelings and if it’s something I really can’t live with then when we see them again united we tell them not to do that thing. It’s so hard though! I really am sorry. That would send me over the edge! So gross! I would NEVER do that to another persons baby!

Unfortunately, that's what they would do to clean any dirt and crap off the pacifiers when we were babies. So gross, I would never ever put my sons pacifier in my mouth.

My husband and I do this if baby drops his at home 🤷🏼‍♀️ just tell her not to do it again. Doesn’t make her a crazy bitch, that’s a little much.

I’ve seen people do that.  Even in public.  Baby drops it, mom picks it up, puts it in her mouth(I can only assume that is their way of “cleaning” it from falling on the floor) and giving it back to baby.  🤢
For my son and myself, if he dropped a pacifier on a public floor, it would have been put in the closest garbage.  If at home, it was washed and then given back.  But, we quickly started using the clip to his shirt pacifier holder.  Never dropped it, thank goodness!
