When to start....

My baby is a week old now. I’m just curious when did you start tummy time? When did you start introducing toys and such? I know he’s super young but if I can exercise his brain and body why not? ￼

From now really, just do it chest to chest and have bub look at your face, start introducing toys when he is a little older.

Day one we started tummy time!
He was always upright or on our chest when he wasn’t sleeping (and sometimes when he was if we were holding him) and we made sure to consistently make eye contact and talk to him to engage his brain.

We started tummy time chest to chest and on a play mat at about a week old. Not really toys but a soft rattle and a pillow usually on the floor with baby.
