Is this normal?

Since I’ve gotten into my second trimester, my hands always “fall asleep”/ go numb. And when I wake up have have to move them consistently to make it go away. Is this normal? I’ve never had this before

This happened to me a lot in my second trimester but seems to have mostly gone away now (29w)?

It's probably pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. I had it my last pregnancy and I think I'm starting to have it this pregnancy. It can get very painful. Good luck!

This happened a lot with my first pregnancy. My dr recommended to sleep on my left side for better blood flow and to sleep with my hands in a prayer position to make sure my hands weren’t cut off from circulation.

Yeah its carpel tunnel syndrome , tell your doc but theirs not  much you can do besides getting wrist splints for when you sleep...usually goes away after baby is born. I had it with my son in third trimester and and then this time around started in second trimester aswell

I’d mention it to your doctor. Carpal tunnel happens to some pregnant women
