This past year I vowed to give myself the very thing my soul was missing, my son. I paused my life to create life. I paused my life to have someone I’ve wanted since I was a kid. I was able to give life while living life and that was an accomplishment in itself. This birthday is definitely different than others but when I look at my son, nothing can compare to the way he looks at me. I’m using my platform to break boundaries, rules and stigmas that we place on others and ourselves. I’m usually on an island with a drink in each hand but instead I’m choosing to continue to use my body as a vessel for my son . I dedicate this next year to those who are afraid to be themselves.
