You’re gonna find something else at all costs. 
And you’d rather the kid be hungry in the time it takes to find an alternative, than to get sick off rotten tomatoes.

It’s better to be single than not in an abusive relationship... that’s probably something you’d consider a no-brainer, at least in theory:

People that use you and don’t care about you aren’t friends at all. If you are keeping people like that in your life because you don’t want to have no friends, it sounds like you need to learn how to love yourself and your own company. I have 1 friend that lives thousands of miles from me and it honestly doesn’t bother me at all. It’s no problem for me to cut people off that don’t add value to my life because I enjoy my solitude and I don’t mind being alone.
