Are fake flowers ok for a wedding??

Question

We are going for an autumn rustic vibe. October 2021 is the goal! Barn. Leaves. Hay bales. We arent flashy people and we also aren't super rich. It'll be a smaller wedding (like our guest list has 35 people).
I dont even want a ton of flowers. Baby breath along the aisles. I dont want flower center pieces. I prefer more fabric and wood and fairy lights. So really its my bouquet, MOH, the grooms boutonnieres, best man. Do our parents really need to wear flowers? I dont think so. Our dog is our ring bearer we have no flower girl.
I think fake is the way to go. I priced it out and itll run 200. And last forever. Whereas real is almost 500.

You can do whatever you want. It’s YOUR wedding. The only people who have a say in how it should be done is you and your fiancé. 
You want fake flowers? Go for it!
You want a pizza instead of a cake? Do it!
You want to do it in your backyard? Have at it!
You want to have a $10,000 venue? Why not? 
So long as you and your fiancé are in agreement and have worked out an appropriate budget, nobody gets to tell you how to get married.

We did fake flowers and it was so much less stress! And I we made my bouquet ourselves and now I will always have it the way it looked when I walked down the aisle! I have it in a vase in our house

wait.. you might be on to something. personally i wanted real flowers but fake sounds better, cheaper and nicer. i’ve noticed some centerpiece flowers wilting at the reception. i’d go for it for your theme

You can do whatever you want. I’m pretty picky and the fake flowers that would pass my inspection would cost more than the real thing. I also don’t have anything to do with the flowers once the event is done. It’s not like I would display them around my house or anything. I bought wholesale flowers and made my own bouquets and center pieces and was very happy with them. They went in the compost when they started to fade 🤷🏼‍♀️

I used real flowers but brought them from a supermarket, cost me 100 for my bouquet, 6 bridesmaids bouquets and 12 button holes and two vases of flowers as gifts to our parents. 
I made the bouquets and stuff up the day before and kept them in our garage. 
As for center peices I kept it simple with candles in ribbon wrapped jars. 
I also read that to save money people used the bouquets as center peices.

A lot of flowers I'm allergic to because of the pollen so I'm either going sans flowers, fake flowers, or an herbal bouquet.

All my flowers at my wedding were fake including my bouquet and my throwing bouquet. I did have 12 real ones that I put on each table and on mine. Only cost me $9 dollars.
