HPV High risk E6/E7 positive result

Hi! Went to an annual exam (first time in about 3 years) about a month who and got a call about my results being HPV positive for high-risk E6/E7.

I never had the HPV prevention shot cause I was too old. That doesn’t super concern me except for the fact that I haven’t had sex in nearly 2years (October will be 2)! So I’m wondering how long I’ve had this and if it’s bad that I didn’t know. And is it bad that my body hasn’t cleared it out yet? Everything I read says the body will build antibodies in 8-24 months but as mentioned, it’s been about that long since I’ve slept with someone but it’s still here. Basically tell me everything you know about this!!

I have my follow up appointment next Friday 8/7. Is there anything specific I should ask the dr?
