What a rare thing!! Baby Caleb Henry Rogers was born on his July 28 due date, 8lbs and 13 ounces, 21 inches long.

Birth was HARD: 23 hours of labor and two hours of pushing. I’m left with a ton of stitches and tears, and lost so much blood I needed a transfusion. My right foot never got feeling back after the epidural wore off...yes a strange worst nightmare!! Could be a little clot from the epidural or some nerve damage from the position of the leg during labor...will get some therapy and an MRI! Walking with a walker is annoying and not how I pictured post partum.

Would I do it all again just to meet and hold him? 10000%.

I’ve so enjoyed reading everyone’s stories as we came to July and finally got our summer babes. Praying for anyone due today or anyone’s July babies who are cozy until August!! Isn’t this journey the best?!
