Breastfeeding while taking prednisone
I had an allergic reaction to some meds I was taking, and now have to take prednisone. I was prescribed 40 MG a day. The pharmacist told me that in her experience this dramatically decreases milk supply. My almost 6 month old is exclusively breastfed. Anyone that’s had to take this medicine while breastfeeding, we’re you able to do anything to successfully counteract the drop in supply?
