What is everyone’s opinion on cancel culture?

I always believe victims first and never victim blame!

But lately, a lot of cases feel like a witch hunt. “Let’s find a celebrity and bring up every bad thing they did over the past 30 years to get them cancelled,” is how it feels on the media and social media.

Again, not victim blaming at all!

But the Ellen Degeneres thing and the recent dozens of male celebrities being accused of sexual misconduct, seems like a takedown. (Not that they don’t deserve to be taken down!)

But it’s now become guilty until proven innocent, take away their shows, stop listening to their music, they’re completely “cancelled” and their careers will never recover.

What are some cases where you feel cancel culture has gone “too far?”
