Cousin always threatening to kill herself ?

I have a problem with a cousin whom I used to be close to. She is very high tempered and since we’ve been close she’s been threatening to kill herself every time things don’t go her way. I wasn’t in the mood to be bombarded with information and I told her I wasn’t in the right head space, and then she goes on to threatening suicide again! It’s gotten to the point where I’ve had to drive to her house to try and stop her.

She said she hope she dies and goodnight and then says hello? Says youre ignoring her and then claims she doesnt care but she cared enough to text multiple times. She just wants your attention.

. When someone threatens to kill themself you call the cops and tell them what they're saying to you. Probably have many many text messages proving that she's saying she going to kill herself. They can actually put her in a 72-hour hold. call her mom an call whoever really cares about her and let them know she's saying she going to kill herself. Send her a link or even a phone number to a suicide hotline.sounds like she also does it for attention cuz she realizes she said she's going to kill herself you reply back or anyone replies back.If you have to you can block her after you do all those steps. You've done everything you can do.

You are not responsible for her life or death, if she does this it is serious emotional and mental manipulation. Call the relevant authorities and ask them to preform a welfare check because she is threatening suicide, keep all the messages she sends you in regards to these threats so that if you have to call for multiple welfare checks you can prove they are unsubstantiated concerns

Honesyly my partner is suicidal - when he threatens its coz hes begging for help .. so I call the police if he disappears or his mental health team. But when he doesnt threaten and disappears and doesnt reply... thats when I worry as that's when he will do something. He'll hide how he's feeling and then do something.

Im not sure about where you live but if she threatens that again theres a number you can call suicide hotline or crisis will come instead of calling cops they will 302 her for 30 days
