Am I being paranoid?

So my daughter is 4 months, and we’ve brought her to meet my bfs mom and sister and we’ve even brought her to my sisters house. And today my dad was like “ I think she’s old enough now that I can bring her out to go meet my friends “ and although my daughter has met my two closest friends and other family members I just feel like she’s not ready. The difference being, anywhere I’ve brought her she’s been inside and around people who don’t really leave their house... vs his friends that hang/live in a really shady part of my city and they hang out outside.. idk these people and idk who they’ve been contract with. I told my dad I don’t know and he was like what do you mean you don’t know? Why not ? And he just doesn’t understand that I’m not comfortable.. maybe if what was going on in the world wasn’t MAYBE but... like am I being paranoid or is it justified?
