Finally almost moved in!

Kelly • Mommy of 6, should we make it 7?!?!

Well it only took over a year to finally move and get settled. My dad passed away June 2019 and his house sat in probate for a year. I did some packing of his things, donated furniture etc in the beginning but ultimately left it all for the end. We finally have almost all of our new furniture, just waiting on a curio cabinet and sofa table. All of our personal belongings are moved and in place, except my toddlers toys lol. Our plan for our old home (its a mobile home) was to basically do some outside repairs and then sell it as is but the realtor was struggling because quite frankly the house is in bad shape and needed indoor work, full bathroom/kitchen renovation, new roof, paint, temite control and more. We might have gotten $125,000 if lucky and that would have been after dumping $45,000(contractors estimate)into the repairs. It has given me so much stress thinking about getting the repairs done, being liable for anything that went wrong, especially trying to tackle all of it at the end of pregnancy. She contacted a company for us and they came by yesterday and offered me $70,000 for it. They basically remove it, and place a new one so they make a lot of profit BUT it takes away all the stress from me and $70,000 isn't bad considering I paid $109,ooo for it 7 years ago, I signed all the paper work yesterday!!! Im so happy things have finally worked out and maybe now I can enjoy this last month of pregnacy!!!!
