Top two pics or bottom two pics?

Just got our first house. It was built in 1941, so I wanna incorporate checkered tile 😍 which kitchen is your favorite and why?

I like the top two because of the contrast w/ the natural wood elements, it warms it up & keeps it from looking too sterile & modern

I hate wood and think the gray is clean and crisp so that would be my vote

Top two but I love the warm wood mixed with the black and white neutrals. Also I’m over seeing Grey everywhere. I feel like it lacking warmth to me.

Top two. Wood always has a more homely feel to me. The bottom two look too sterile. So many homes are like this nowadays and it's just not for me.
