Nah I used to be a manager for a pizza place. We would close delivery ordering 30 minutes before close because it would get to you after close and our driver still had their things to do in the store.

Restaurants typically have an order cut off time for delivery and online/phone pick up orders (dif if you walk in). If they are still accepting it then it is still appropriate

Our pizza place takes its last orders 20 minutes before close. If the place you order from doesn’t have their own cutoff, that’s on them 🤷🏼‍♀️

50 minutes is fine. Usually they will stop taking orders around 20 minutes before closing and won’t offer delivery from about 30-40 min before

No. Their “open hours” are when you can order. I wouldn’t order within 20 minutes if closing but 50 is most definitely reasonable.
