What do you look for to know if somebody is the one/ person you want to spend the rest of your life with. 
My parents thought that they found their soulmate but after having kids they just argued a lot, and aren’t really that great of a couple any more. I don’t want that to happen to me and my boyfriend. How can I check to know if he’s the one for me?

Answer

I feel like you know it’s the one when you can be yourself with him. No relationship is perfect. We all have our flaws and our virtues. If your SO asks you to change I feel like he isn’t the one. Just because I think you change for that person yourself because you want to be better for that person and vice versa. When you love that person you fight against anything and anyone. As a boyfriend girlfriend relationship it’s easier you are in the phase where you want to see each other all the time. When you live together the first year is hard. Because you are with them all the time. There may be little things you didn’t know bothered you lol. Like him leaving clothes all around the house. But never let it become a routine. Always talk out your problems. I been with my hubby for 10 years. Living with him for 4 years. He still text me he loves me. We still cuddle and are all over each other. We do have our arguments don’t get me wrong. My point is as long as there is respect, love, communication and most important you are willing to fight for your love you are good!
