Using a Hakka for Colostrum?

Has anyone used a Hakka while at the hospital for colostrum?

To give some back story, with my first two kids, neither would latch to breastfeed in the hospital. I wanted them to at least get the colostrum so the nurse had me hand express into a plastic spoon, then we would suck that up into a syringe to feed to baby. It just seemed like a little much to me.

So I’m due with my 3rd in October and I have already purchased a Hakka just to have on hand. I wondered if it would work in that kind of situation to get the colostrum out to give to baby vs the whole hand expressing into a spoon method.
