What can I do
Ok so this might be kind of lengthy.
Basically, I’m losing my shit. Lol. My 3 month old is just a terrible sleeper and I need help. But the thing is that I believe heavily in following the safe sleep guidelines. Alone, on her back, in her crib (bassinet) but ALL of the suggestions I get from family and friends do not follow safe sleep guidelines. I’m not here to judge, to each their own. But I personally am just not comfortable with it. Everyone suggests co sleeping, dock a tots, all these pillow things you put in their crib with them, etc. and I’m not willing to do any of that.
My girl will not nap during the day unless she’s being held by me or dad. She’ll sleep in her bassinet at night and is finally starting to sleep for longer periods of time. About 4-5 hour stretches on a good night. But now she’s starting to roll over. The problem is that she rolls from back to tummy but hasn’t gotten rolling from tummy to back down. So when she rolls, she’s stuck that way unless we move her back. She’s been rolling over to sleep and I don’t want her sleeping that way until she knows how to roll from tummy to back so she isn’t stuck. Every time I put her back on her back though she wakes up. So my options have been to stay awake the entire time because I either have to turn her back over and deal with waking her up or I have to supervise her sleeping so she doesn’t suffocate herself rolled over. I don’t know what to do.
Does anyone have ANY kind of advice that could help me through this? Ugh
