If anyone is still iffy in having an in person baby shower just don’t do it. We had less than 10 people at mine this was family and a few friends people I’ve known for years and trust with my children and one of them still put my family in danger(including my High risk mother) she came to my shower knowing she might have covid, didn’t tell any of us and it turns out she does have it. She was tested DAYS before my shower and she still willingly showed up because she “didn’t feel that bad” now I have to worry about not only myself but my baby, my toddler and my boyfriend. I know we want as much normalcy as possible with this going on. All I wanted was to celebrate my sweet girl and one selfish and inconsiderate person ruined it for me. Needless to say she is no longer a friend to any of us and she will not be having any further contact with me or my kids. So like I said if you’re still thinking of doing one in person its best if you don’t. Unfortunately you can’t even trust people that you’ve known for many years and would even call family.
