I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years now and the whole time we’ve been a secret from his family bc they’re Bosnian muslims. I am a Hispanic and raised Christian. When they first found out about us they were angry at him and told him to break up with me but used the “N” word. We still continued to date and when they found out the second time they forced him to go to Bosnia to forget about me. Meanwhile we still continued to date. Two years later my boyfriend told me that he can’t ever marry me bc his family has already lost so many family members and he loves them and doesn’t want to get disowned. Is there a way that we can stand up to them without him losing his family over me?
